Loyalty / Checkins
This section describes the API endpoints that support the ability for a POS to identify which loyalty members have arrived in-venue. These loyalty checkins are separate to table checkins, in that they are not associated to orders, tables or anything else physical in the venue. The intention behind a loyalty checkin is to support the ability for a POS to use this information to trigger loyalty-related processes, for example, attempt to pay for an order through a loyalty App against a loyalty member that has checked in to the venue. When the loyalty member leaves the venue, it is expected that the loyalty checkin is deleted by the Loyalty App.
