When new online orders are submitted both Square POS and Square for Restaurants have the ability to display an Alert on the screen. This prompts the user to mark the order as In Progress and commence preparation.
The Order Alerting can be disabled, or the frequency of the alerting changed. To do this you should use the Device which manages your online orders.
1. Under Settings, scroll to the Orders section, and select Alerts.
You can now select if you want Alerts to occur, and how frequent these alerts should occur.
Square for Restaurants
- Select the Orders section on your Device. On the right hand corner you will notice a link to the Alert Settings
- Select if you require Alerts, and the frequency in which these should arrive.
