To setup your Deliveroo connection with your POS via Doshii requires a number of simple on-boarding steps. But don't worry, the Doshii Support team will help at each step of the way. We will make sure you are up and running in no time with a solution that improves your business efficiency, reduces order errors and ensures the kitchen receives an order as soon as you accept it on the tablet. Step 1: Sign Up with Doshii
For us to begin on-boarding for Deliveroo we need to know a few details about your business. We gather this using our simple Get Started form, which you can fill out here: https://doshii.io/get-started
Step 2: Doshii Support works with your POS company
Once we have received your request for Deliveroo connection we will contact your POS vendor on your behalf. We will work with your POS provider to setup all the necessary components to ensure:
- your POS is upgraded to the minimum required version. We will check with you before this work goes ahead, and any costs that may be associated with this will be discussed with you directly by your POS vendor.
- Doshii is configured correctly on your POS, and all orders that originate from the Doshii connection will be sent to your kitchen correctly and print to receipts as you need.
- Doshii receives your entire catlogue of menu items automatically from your POS as soon as the connection is completed, so we won't need to ask you for this information.
Step 3: Doshii Support works to create your Deliveroo menu
Once your POS connection is established with Doshii we work to create your Deliveroo menu. If you have an existing Deliveroo menu, we will replicate this for you. If you don't have an exisiting Deliveroo menu, we will request a copy of the items you want to sell on Deliveroo so we can create this for you. For each item you sell we carefully review the most appropriate item to match with your POS menu. This ensures that what customers order online will correctly be sent to your POS kitchen.
In the event we cannot map an item to your POS menu, Doshii support will work with you to create the menu item within your system. As we do not have direct access to your POS, we ask you to take a little time to complete this configuration for us.
Step 4: Deliveroo connection is enabled
Once you are satisfied that the menu is configured and linked correctly, Doshii will instruct Deliveroo to enable your tablet as 'POS integrated'! From this point, any orders either manually or auto accepted by you on the Deliveroo tablet will be automatically sent to your POS, printing out in the kitchen and making reconciliation easy!
