In order to connect your in-venue or pickup/delivery ordering through HungryHungry with a Doshii-partnered POS there are a number of steps to follow. This guide will help you go through these steps, and ensure you can finalise your connection. Access your Doshii Dashboard account
Get Started with Doshii
If you don't already have a Doshii account, head over to https://doshii.com and click the Get Connected button to create an account. You will be asked for information about your venue and POS provider and then you can request a connection to HungryHungry.
If you are an existing Doshii customer, you just need to log in to your account here and request a connection to HungryHungry.
You may be referred directly by HungryHungry, in which case you will receive an email with a link to sign up to Doshii.
The above will take you through our Doshii sign-up process. Here you will input important details such as your Venue Name and you will be requested to choose your POS system. The information from this sign-up process will be sent to our support team to provision your account.
If you have been referred by HungryHungry, a referral box will appear. Please tick the venue(s) you wish to connect and click 'Accept & Continue'
Otherwise, on the home screen, please:
- Click the 'Add an App' button
- Select HungryHungry
- Click the 'Connect' button
HungryHungry Maps your Menu Items to your POS
Doshii facilitates the connection between HungryHungry and your POS to ensure your customer orders are printed directly to your kitchen printers and appear in your POS Sales reports.
To achieve this, menu items ordered by a customer in HungryHungry need to be mapped to their appropriate POS menu items. This is to ensure:
- Stock inventories are maintained correctly in your POS
- The dockets print the correct items and your kitchen staff know what to cook.
- We minimise the need to create new menu items in your POS unnecessarily.
HungryHungry will conduct the mapping of your menu items to their correct POS IDs using the menu management tools provided in Doshii Dashboard. They will work with you to ensure that the POS ID they map to each of your HungryHungry menu items reflects the correct POS sale item.
Access your Doshii Dashboard account
As part of your sign up, Doshii will provide you with a login to the Doshii Dashboard (https://dashboard.doshii.io). Through the Doshii Dashboard you will be able to see your POS menu and the menu item 'POS IDs' that are necessary for the connection to HungryHungry. The login credentials created during sign up will give you access to Doshii Dashboard.
No action is required from you. Doshii's Support Team will get to work connecting your POS to Doshii and retrieving your POS Menu items, ready for HungryHungry to map them to your menu.
Using Doshii Dashboard
HungryHungry will facilitate your menu build. However, customers are also encouraged to learn our Menu management. To get started with Menu Management, click here.
HungryHungry utilise our filtered menu feature, so in order for a POS item to be linked, we will need to link it to your 'filtered menu'. Learn the process here.
Testing the Connection
Once HungryHungry have completed mapping out your menu your onboarding consultant will conduct some tests. These will allow you to confirm that the test orders are printing the desired items in your kitchen.
