Why can’t I see my product variations in my POS menu in Doshii?

The issue

A product variation in Lightspeed is a type of item - it allows you to apply different pricing levels to an item.  As such, these are synced to your Doshii menu as items - if you have three variations, eg small, medium and large, there will be three items in your Doshii menu for these.

If you want to use these variations as variants in your App menu, you will need to create an Option Set in your Lightspeed POS, which will sync to Doshii as variants.

What can you do?

You can create options sets that will flow through to the Doshii menu and be easily linked to items. 

Option sets and Modifiers will be synced to your Doshii menu as option groups. Lightspeed does not recommend using Modifiers in online menus.

If you have modifiers in your Lightspeed POS and want to connect an online ordering App, or you have product variations, we recommend you re-create these as Options Sets in your Lightspeed POS. You can learn more about how to do this here.

You cannot create POS items and options in Doshii; they must be created in your Lightspeed POS. Any changes you make to your menu in your Lightspeed POS will automatically sync to Doshii.
