How do I manage my menu?
As Uber Eats Menu Maker is turned off when the integration is activated, you will need to use Doshii's Menu Management tools to make changes to your menu. The Doshii Customer Success team will take you through a training session to understand how items in your POS are pushed to Doshii and how to link, edit and unlink items in your integrated Uber Eats menu, as well as control item availability.
Does Doshii support multiple and timed menus?
Yes, Doshii can support more than one menu for Uber Eats.
Can I cancel an Uber Eats order?
Yes, you can cancel an order via your tablet, however please be aware that while Doshii will receive the update it may still show as a successful order in your POS, not a cancelled order - this will impact your POS reporting.
If you cancel the order on your tablet, you may need to manually void the order in your POS, to maintain the integrity of your POS data.
Can I cancel an item in an Uber Eats order?
Yes, you can cancel an item in an order via your tablet, however please be aware that Doshii will not receive the update to the order and it will therefore show the original order in your POS, not the amended order - this will impact your POS reporting.
If you cancel an item on your tablet, you may need to manually void the item in the order on your POS, to maintain the integrity of your POS data.
Can I pause my Uber Eats store?
Yes, you can pause your store using your Uber Eats tablet, as normal.
Can I notify of a delayed delivery?
Yes, you can notify of a delayed delivery using your Uber Eats tablet, as normal.
Do you support Holiday Hours?
Yes, you can use our Advanced Operating Hours to set any specific holiday period trading hour changes. If you have any questions related to how to set these, please reach out to Doshii Customer Success (firstname.lastname@example.org) who will be happy to help you manage this.
Can I change some of the initial Uber Eats integration setup?
Yes, other than turning Uber Eats Menu Maker back on, the initial setup can be changed at your request. We recommend these initial settings based on our experience, but the decision on how you want to handle orders flows is ultimately yours.
How do I control item availability?
Availability should be set within Doshii via our Dashboard - you can easily toggle items on and off and changes will update to your Uber online store immediately. Please be aware that if you toggle an item to be unavailable, this will remain in place for 7 days. After this period, the item will become available on your Uber Eats menu again.
If you make changes to item availability on your Uber tablet, this will also be reflected in your Uber online store, but these updates do not get sent to Doshii. If you subsequently update your Uber Eats menu in Doshii, the availability set on your tablet will be overwritten by the availability in your Doshii Uber Eats menu. For this reason, we recommend only using Doshii Menu Manager to control availability.
